About Ms. MannMs. Mann is a Raleigh native and is pleased to be teaching at her alma mater of Raleigh Charter High School! She received her B.S. in geology from the University of North Carolina- Wilmington and then spent some time interning for NC DENR at the Division of Water Quality. After finishing her Master's degree for Science Education at NC State she moved to Washington D.C. where she taught science for 5 years at DC's top charter schools. Ms. Mann eventually returned to her Raleigh to teach for several years before coming home to Raleigh Charter.
Ms. Mann LOVES all things science but especially enjoys the topics of tectonics, fossils, and animals. She grew up a State fan but transitioned over to being a Duke fan when she met her husband. The enemy of my enemy is my friend, right? No matter her sports preferences, she's an even bigger fan of all things Harry Potter. |
